Funding Support

- The SAATI Professional Development Funding Support will offer members of SAATI the opportunity to apply for funding, using the Expression of Interest Form, to support Professional Development activities.
- The funding will contribute to the cost of registration fees of the Professional Development activity that strengthens the teaching and learning of Italian. The amount of funding will be determined by the SAATI committee on an individual basis.
- SAATI expects all successful recipients to share any experiences/resources gained from the professional development undertaken.
Application Process and Guidelines
- Written applications are invited from all financial SAATI members who demonstrate a willingness and ability to gain and share information with other members of SAATI.
- The selection panel will comprise of SAATI committee members who will assess each application on individual merits.
- Funding will be provided to those applicants who meet the selection criteria and have a genuine need for financial assistance.
- This does not apply to SAATI professional development events.

Selection Criteria
- Applicants must be current financial members of SAATI.
- Assessment and selection of applicants for funding support will be made by the Selection Panel based on the relevance of the Professional Development, the potential benefit for the applicant, their students and association members.
- The Selection Panel’s decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
